Attendance: Angel Zayaz, Linda Leonard, Amanda Paschal, Marly Dombrower
Western Night: Briefly discussed all the tasks left to accomplish before 9/15.
Hay ride and Band have been secured. Kelly Ellis has pledged to donate money to go towards the cost of the Hay Ride, band, and perhaps other activities.
Having issues finding food trucks, horse for Pony Poop Round Up and mounted police officer. Disney approved the application and will be providing Land 4 tickets for the raffle.
Asking Flat Acre Farms to borrow their photo cut-outs.
Jenny approved bull skull hula-hoop toss.
Working on ideas for other activities and additional raffle items.
Spirit Wear: Received invoice for window clings $1,684.33
Linda moves to pay, Angel seconds
Flyers will be placed on desks for Meet Your Teacher, flyer approved with slight changes. Linda to get flyers printed. Board approves reimbursing for printing costs. PTO board to have table with shirts for parents to see at Meet Your Teacher.
PTO will not set up for assessment days, flyers will be left in the office for last minute orders.
PTO to post about shirts to web site, Facebook, send a PTO email, and ask Jenny to include in Thursday folders and her blog.
Digger dash funds: Already agreed to spend $17,344 on technology. School has already set this in motion. Recycling items also being considered for Digger dash funds: Cooler will run $1,800; Composter $4,500. Need to assess how much we expect to raise vs what we are spending. Want to have the cooler for the beginning of school, need to order now.
PTO worked on budget for the coming year however did not finish.
Need to discuss Digger Dash envelopes at the first meeting.
